Nick is Pragma’s MD for Operations, with overall responsibility for optimising company operations and developing the team, culture and working environment.
He works across company strategy and proposition, knowledge and training, finance planning and reporting, legal, HR and recruitment, as well as the occasional piece of work for key clients.
Following his graduation from Oxford University, Nick has worked for over 15 years in professional advisory services. He started his career at PwC before moving to Pragma as an analyst more than 12 years ago. He has worked on UK and international consumer strategy projects across all divisions, before taking on a more internally-focused role when Pragma was acquired by St Ives in 2011.
He maintains his focus on the outdoor and sporting sectors outside of work too, trying out many of our clients’ (and occasionally their competitors’) products up a mountain, on coastal trails, or on the golf course.
Heidi is responsible for the operations of the property team.
Heidi joined the team following the integration of FSP and Pragma having spent her time at FSP developing systems and processes to utilise the huge amount of information held and ensure the business ran smoothly. She was appointed to the FSP board in 2014.
Heidi has particular responsibility for the development of Pragma’s retail property database, operational databases and SnapShop, ensuring Pragma’s property team is always in the best position to provide its unique consultancy service to clients. Heidi also shares the operational responsibilities of Pragma’s central team.
Spare time is a novelty Heidi is still getting used to. She’s raised her family to a point where, in theory, they can look after themselves and she no longer has to spend mornings, evenings and weekends on poolside. Books now get read and the countryside explored, although her boys are home often enough to mean the kitchen is still her domain.
Dave has been instrumental in developing new products and services for Pragma’s property clients.
Dave joined the team following the integration of FSP and Pragma. He graduated from University of Leicester with a BA (Hons) in Human Geography before starting his career with Experian Business Strategies, where he experienced a range of sectors including retail, property, public sector and automotive. Working on range of international projects in Holland, Sweden and Hungary provided good foundations for Dave’s European project work.
Dave joined FSP in 2010 and was appointed to the board as Technical Director in January 2017. Dave has been instrumental in developing new services such as DELV interactive tenancy plans, STAR retailer sales reporting, the IMPACT retail catchment model, MENU (FSP’s F&B segmentation) and Virtual High Street. Dave’s role is to co-ordinate development of new skills, techniques and products.
Dave’s spare time is taken up by his one year old son, watching Peppa Pig and contemplating going for a run at the same time.
As Head of Operations, Chris has responsibility for a number of internal-focused projects as well as aspects of training, recruitment and proposition development.
Chris’s experience includes three and a half years of client project work at Pragma, where he contributed to more than 60 projects, the majority of which were as a Senior Consultant on due diligence assignments. He also spent a year and a half as a financial planning /strategy analyst at Zipcar, the world’s leading car-sharing service.
Chris has a passion for music, and has enjoyed singing in choirs for as long as he can remember. He also enjoys exploring the best green spaces London has to offer.
