Task:
To help Budapest better understand their retail customers and inform their commercial strategy.

What we did:
  • Review of passenger behaviour research and segmentation
  • Reviewed passenger flows into additional terminal areas to be constructed
  • Space supportable and forecast financial model
  • Retail space masterplanning and tenant mix recommendations

Result:

Budapest is constructing a new airside commercial area between the two existing terminal areas to create 100% flow of passengers passed the shops and restaurants.

Our retail masterplan is being incorporated into this redevelopment.
