London Luton Airport Case Study

Pragma passenger behaviour analysis informs airport strategy

Location:
UK

Reporting Level: Marketing Director

Task: To provide airport management with regular updates on passenger behaviour and requirements

What we did:
  • Undertook regular waves of passenger research since 1999
  • Determined passenger needs from shops, restaurants and airport services
  • Understood non-user reasons for not flying from the airport
Result:
Our work is continually used by London Luton Airport across all aspects of improving the airport, including two major redevelopments of the airport.

"It is great to be able to provide consistent feedback to our retail and catering partners, highlighting trends each month and looking at year on year performance. Partners appreciate the opportunity to look at their own results in the context of the wider airport picture and the exchange of information encourages joint marketing initiatives and proactive sales promotion."
